I want to tell you something...​

And it's really important because so many people struggle with this...

​

It's GOALS that you want to accomplish, but that are the WRONG goals...

​

Having goals is great and important, but there are certain types of goals that can do more harm than good. So...

​

Here are THREE goals you can ditch:

​

1) Needing to weigh a certain number on the scale.

Seriously. It often does more harm than good. It doesn’t give you an accurate picture of your progress.

Seriously, #breakthescale. Literally, do it tonight. It doesn't matter.

​

2) Trying to be perfect.

Perfection. Does. Not. Exist. So stop trying to achieve it.

I tried for YEARS. I was miserable. So give it up.

​

3) "Stop" , "Give Up", Any Restrictive Nutrition GOALS

When you say you are going to β€œstop eating carbs” or β€œgive up sugar,” you set yourself up for failure.

What happens if you eat foods that were "off limits"? This often leads to feelings of failure and throwing in the towel completely, or swinging the opposite way and further restricting to β€œmake up for it.”

It’s much better to work in balances so that you choose nutritious foods most of the time, but don’t create strict rules with food.​

Try crowding out the foods that aren't supporting your goals by eating more nutrient dense foods so you have less interest in the less nutritious foods.

Re-framing your goals can make a huge impact on your overall mindset and allow you to enjoy the process of reaching your goals.

SO HERE'S THAT SOMETHING GREAT!!!

You no longer have to believe that you will only be happy β€œonce you get there.”

You can be happy NOW, just as you are, while you work hard to reach your goals.
